Pre-Trip Research

We will going for our overseas study trip to Beijing soon on this coming Monday. And all of us are excited and looking forward for this trip. The briefing and the work assignment have been done on the 7th Sep.

We are 'Team 4'. Our team have been assigned to do a little research on BeyondSoft company and Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT) before we go for a short visit to these places. Below are some of our findings on BeyondSoft and BUPT respectively:

Beyondsoft is one of the top Chinese software companies among Neusoft, CDC Software, Chinasoft International Ltd and etc.

It is a leading IT outsourcing company. Beyondsoft offers IT consulting, Application Development and Maintenance (ADM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Business Process Outsourcing services (BPO) to the clients across the globe.

- Its a computer software system that is designed for make the daily operations of business to run a lot smoother.
- ERP software system helps to do tracking inventory for examples some sort of database and billing system on their computers

Business Process Outsourcing (BPO)

- can be also defined as the act of utilizing the services of a third party by a company to perform a company back office operations that might be payroll administration, customer help desks/call centers, tele- marketing, accounting, billing and many more.
- Benefits of BPO can make help to increase productivity and cut operational costs.

Beijing University of Post and Telecommunications

BUPT is one of the 73 Key National Universities under the Ministry of Education of P.R.China. Initailly named Beijing Institute of Posts and Telecommunications. It was the first institute of higher learning for teaching and research in the fields of posts and telecommunications. It rename as its present name BUPT in 1993

The university is distinguished by the teaching and research in the field of cable communications, wireless communications, computer, and electronic engineering.
